avant-garde experimental improvisational extreme metal / free jazz fusion. hellish guitar shredding, seemingly endless percussion, bipolar tempo shifting, multiple time-signature adaptation, and free verse poetry about suffering under mental illness, the evils of the ideas of humanity derived from the colonizers, and the destruction of white supremacy and racism, expressed through harsh bellowing and gnarled screaming. deep expressions of frustration, suffering, exhaustion, excitement, and impending revolution, whether it be the marginalized taking our lives back from those who threaten us, or the earth ultimately taking all of us in a brutal embrace of mass extinction.

"Catastrophe Synthesis" refers to the necessary destruction of previous forms in order to create new life -- to create chaos, cause destruction, and create the future from beneath the ashes. "catastrophe synthesis" also refers to our music, in which we create the music that we play by creating form, destroying form, and once again creating new form within the destruction of form itself. each note and sound is an express of catharsis, of rage, of sadness, of joy, of life, of death, of unpacking the self and the complicated selves that lie within, of the destruction of structures and the creation of new worlds.
